BREMED is proud to introduce a new and innovative line of products: Aqua Patch^©, a new hydrogel based release patches technology.

BREMED Aqua Patch^© hydrogel format is very versatile and we have already successfully incorporated a wide range of ingredients. All patches are composed of a breathable non-woven cloth layered with an advanced adhering hydrogel which is protected by a transparent film cover. The hydrogel patch is much easier to apply and is not greasy like cream or oil preparations. The hydrogel patch leaves no residue when removed. The 'physical feel' created by the hydrogel patch can also accentuate the desired therapeutic or cosmetic effect.

What is Hydrogel?
Hydrogel is a network of polymer chains that are water-insoluble, sometimes found as a colloidal gel in which water is the dispersion medium. Hydrogels are superabsorbent (they can contain over 99% water) natural or synthetic polymers. Hydrogels possess also a degree of flexibility very similar to natural tissue, due to their significant water content.

BREMED Aqua Patch^© is using naturally-derived ingredients, such as herbs, roots, essential oils and flowers, combined with naturally occurring carrier agents, preservatives, surfactants, humectants and emulsifiers (everything from natural soap to oils to pure water).

Some examples of natural skin care ingredients included aloe vera, tea tree oil, lavender oil, cucumber, witch hazel, ginkgo biloba, kuszu root, poria, papaya etc. And common ingredients included sorbitol solution, glycerin, polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), imidazolidinyl urea, RO water.

All the patches in the range are completely natural, so cause no harmful side effects and can be used repeatedly, as required.
